Both these cars were done in the same week a couple of weeks ago.

The SLK was a 2004 car, 16000 miles, never resprayed and the wheels looked to have never been refurbed either with the machining marks still showing on the face and the inner barrel. Not bad for a car that lived in London.

The CLK was equally / if not more amazing. 2009 car, just 3000 miles, never painted, original unmarked wheels and original tyres.

Onto the CLK... This was in excellent condition with what seemed like light swirling. unfortunately the 'light' swirling was actually pretty deep so required heavy polishing still.

Just the after photos on this one after it had been waxed with Zymol Vintage wax

Before the main write up, a few pics of this little gem of a Clio V6 that I detailed last friday for 'Spanner'.






And then we have the Vanquish, finished today after 23hrs of detailing.

2006 Vanquish S with 10k on the clock and on 20" wheels. Possibly detailed before as there were none of the usual sanding marks that seem to come free with every Aston Martin.

Swirls were medium-heavy but the paint was otherwise in excellent condition.

Polishing was carried out with Menzerna Ip3.02 (medium compound) or Menzerna 203s (light compound) depending on the severity of the swirls and followed with Menzerna 106FA finishing polish.


The exhaust and diffuser were also polished / cleaned and later given a coat of Blackfire metal sealant

The paint was then protected with Blackfire sealant. Wheels sealed, Glass cleaned, Interior vacuumed and all leather conditioned.
