Excuse me for being thick but......

How the hell do I upload photos? It's driving me loopy. I can change my avatar and profile picture but how do I just upload photos into my gallery? I must've done it somehow as I have 7-8 photos in there already. I went into User CP and then Attachments and still can't find it. :wall
