But they are for 10 year olds, surely? £800 on a toddlers bike with no gears?
dearest one i have is about 2200 in todays market...that being the VDC changa long...3rd pic down
several others at about 800-1000....
most people buy parts and build to spec...so the good stuff generall doesnt get sold as a full bike...a bike pretty much always values higher in pieces.
kuwahara et's fetch strong money...one of the guys for kasabian just gave 10k for one..it was brand new or NOS and not one of the repro's.
good investment if you know your stuff![]()

me and several other middle aged loons regulary go on the booze cruise in manchester during the summer months...
start at victoria station and wobble through the city and its bars....have been chased though town by the old bill for pulling a wheelie in a crowded area....
tis a proper full blown mid life crisis.
dont knock it...your a specialist.
Rolex submariner money. I can see that![]()
Bikes are a pain in the arse to store. Where the fecking hell do you store all those bikes Jon? Are they displayed or tucked away out of sight. If they're displayed I bet your missus loves your hobby....not!
in the cellar, couple in the living area( art i'll have you know) some on display in a bike shop ( not for sale, just for the crack)
i'll get all my money back and more if i need to sell any of em, so its a win win really..
each to there own...but when we all run out of fuel...which we will....bmx's will rule the earth![]()

Wholeheartedly agree with that!
errr, except I use big fast motorcycles and racing cars to stem the onset of decreptitude, not a feckin Raleigh Chipper..:finger
Or grifter if you was posh.
Chopper for the big lads.
